Climb through Himalayan Forest canopy with every hour’s ascent view of few snow-clad peak opens up to the continuous march of ever snowy peak where we make a picnic stop. Rise and shine in the luxuriant rustling oak and conifer forest with snow-streaked peaks’ view in the camp’s back drop. Keep an eye and ear open for the Himalayan wildlife such as Asiatic black bear, Himalayan Thar and many pheasant species on the go. Get spoiled for the view of panoramic march of many 6000-meter-high peaks as we climb towards Dayara Bugyal and Bakaria top. Overnight in Devkund.
We leap beyond treeline today after a few hours’ walk. Traverse over a ridgeline with spectacular open wide views of Bhagirathi valley. Best place to expect black bear.

After feeding your senses with the grand landscape of Gidara, we come back to the woods, after a long descend and a good ascend we reach to the beautiful Bugyal that is surrounded by birch and other alpine forest.

Our last day of the trek through the primeval Himalayan Forest, walk past herder’s shack and musical rills on the way and reach Bhangeli village where modernity has not creeped as yet. Bhangeli in a typical Himalayan village with slate roofed houses built in Koti-Banal architecture those defied many tremor Himalayas has experienced in last few decades.
Hit the hot-Spring at Gangnani to wash off exhaustion and the dirt of your weeklong trek.
